The Mitsubishi Pajero 2018-2020 have some quirky issues.
Known ISOFIX Issue
There are two ISOFix locations. One on the passenger and one on the drivers side.
The ISOFix locations are strangely placed. One receiving latch is placed in the middle of the seat, and the other is placed crossing into the "Middle Seat" position. This causes the child seat to be straddling the middle seat as well as the outer seat, and leaves very little room between the seats if two are being fitted.
This is not particularly an issue, unless the parent or carer wants to be able to fold one seat down.
If the parent or carer would prefer a more traditional style, or to use the seat folding feature then you will have to install with the Traditional Seat Belt Method.
Note: The anchor point locations have traditional placement, which results in a slightly off centered pathway if child seats have been installed with ISOFix. Still use the shortest possible pathway, ensuring the tether can't fall down the split seating.
